Top 7 Things Seen & Heard at the Professional Development Day

1.  I’m going to value myself more.
2.  I’m going to raise my prices and feel confident asking for what I’m worth.
3.  Great integration of left brain/right brain information. This day brought both the self-care side and the practical business side together nicely.
4.  From a newbie: “This is an amazing group of women.” (note from Stacey: and I might add, men, too!)
5.  Lynn Feingold singing Irish tunes during the Cinco De Mayo celebration at the After Hours.
6.  Kathleen Hassan, morning keynote speaker, sharing her secret to boosting her confidence and energy before she speaks.  (Note from Stacey: A little song and dance never hurt anyone!)
7.  I wish the workshops were longer!

Overall, the day came complete with high energy, practical advice, and new relationships forming. Overwhelming to some, exciting to others, but certainly succeeding in what the event set out to do: provide the information you need to elevate your business.

 A BIG THANK YOU
BettyAnn Lange from Interfaith Social Services joined us for the after hours to share more about the organization and the wonderful ways they help the community. Thank you to all event attendees who donated clothing to support ISS.

To Kathleen Burns Kingsbury and Lauran Star – two speakers who pinch hit when our closing speakers were unable to attend due to unexpected illness. Thank you, ladies, for stepping in!

To Katie Howard – for everything, as always, to make sure our events run smoothly

Suzanne Ducharme, PD Day team chair and the rest of the team for creating yet another successful event.

To our speakers who spent time sharing their expertise

To attendees who took time out of their day to elevate themselves!

Did you miss the event? Never fear! There are still plenty of opportunities left this year to elevate your business. Check out the calendar of events for lunch-n-learns, lunch and breakfast meetings and special events – all designed to provide you with the contacts, coaching, collaboration and community you need to create a successful business.

 Doesn’t that feel good?

Did you attend the Professional Development Day? What was your key takeaway?
