The South Shore Professional Roundtable (SSPR) is a group that holds monthly networking and education lunch meetings. They meet at noon at Bella’s in Rockland on the 3rd Thursday of each month. SSPR members and guests are interested in sharing ideas, leads and referral sources. Bernhard Heine, business coach and President of Professional Business Coaches, Inc., will lead a discussion on a different business topic at each lunch meeting that provides for engaging discussions. There is no charge for these meetings and Bella’s gives out separate checks.The topic for January is: The Bottom Line – 7 Strategies That Work Together to Double Your Business Profits. Women’s Small Business Contracting Program
The U.S. Small Business Administration is expanding federal contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses (WOSBs). The new Women-owned Small Business Contracting Program will help ensure a level playing field on which WOSBs can compete for Federal contracting opportunities, while helping achieve the existing statutory goal that 5 percent of Federal contracting dollars go to women-owned small businesses.
