Hello, Members!

Is it Spring yet?  One can only wish!  Our lovely New England weather hasn’t made it easy to get out there and network, but it is worth the effort — as evidenced by this month’s connections!

Kristin Foristall from Sweet K Cookies sends a big thank you to Terri Martini at Front Street Gourmet for including Sweet K cookies in the December After Hours event.  It was a great night and a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!   Kristin would also like to thank Jennifer Moran, Home Instead Senior Care, for her holiday cookie order:  to prepare 75 Home Instead logo cookies for holiday marketing gifts.

Allison Guido of Almar Builders sent in a thank you to Teri Narus of Eastern Bank.  “Thank you to Teri and her team at Eastern Bank in Norwell, for once again helping me with my rental property accounts.  The whole staff is so friendly and helpful, and they always remember me.  It’s a great place to go to do business.”

Nadine Pfautz of C.H.A.R.T. Consulting is thankful for the expertise of Lois Wood of Lois Wood Graphic Design and Paula Rowe of GranitePrint for making her company look good as they joined forces to create and print the C.H.A.R.T. Consulting 2011 Calendar.  If you would like a calendar, please let Nadine know.

Martha Tassinari, physical therapist and owner of South Shore Myofascial Release Healing Center, would like to thank Priscilla Chura of Small Biz CFO, Inc. for her excellence in training of Quickbooks.  “This is one of the best investments any business owner can make.  Working with Priscilla has taught me volumes about bookkeeping and has guided me in the proper steps of financial organization.  Her expertise and tutorial skills have been a great asset to my business,” Martha said.

Susan Peters of Mt. Vernon Mortgage sent in a thank you to Judy Walsh-Rodriguez of Watchall and her husband Rick for both their business and their undying patience!  “In the world of mortgage lending, where things are definitely more complicated than they used to be, Judy and Rick had to wait for a ridiculously long time for their home to be professionally appraised.  The first appraiser assigned to the job did a very poor job and Judy and Rick were very patient while I went through all the proper channels to appeal the appraisal.  In the end, our appeal was upheld, but not without creating an awful lot of stress for Judy and Rick.  I am so very grateful for their faith in me, their trust, and of course, their business!”

Susan went on to write, “A great big note of thanks to Terri Martini of Front Street Gourmet for making a party I hosted for my extended family a fabulous success!  Terri prepared the most delicious sandwich platters, desserts and appetizers, as well as packed up the necessary liquid refreshments to assure that everyone had a wonderful time!  If you have not visited Terri and tried her delectable goodies, I suggest you do so as soon as possible.  No pre-party stress for me!  Terri did her thing and left me plenty of time to make my soups and the desserts I chose to!  Thanks, Terri!”

For myself, I have a couple of heart-felt thank yous to share.  First, to George Toma of George Washington Toma for heading up the Powerlifting Division of Special Olympics for which my son will begin to train soon.  And to Jennifer Moran, Home Instead Senior Care, for referring me to the YMCA in Hanover.  George and I were looking for a location to help train these amazing young athletes.  Jennifer referred me to her contact at YMCA and we are working out the details.  Yet again, a big thank you to Patty Funder of LaserLight for again making me feel great from the skin-side out™!

“To a person with one of the best names — Cheryl Terrill — thank you for the referral to the executrix for the estate of one of Cheryl’s co-workers, who passed away suddenly this fall,” said Kathleen A. Keegan, owner of REAL ESTATE ROCKS!  “I appreciate Cheryl for trusting me to help during this emotional time.”

Thank you all for sharing your connections — please keep them coming.  I hope you all have a productive and successful February!
