In Janet’s acceptance speech she spoke about doing business with people we know and trust. Her message of peeling off the layers (she really did), and getting to know each other was well received. Janet’s motto of “paying it forward” is going to be the fire behind SSWBN’s mission of Contacts, Coaching and Collaboration.
Stacey Shipman, SSWBN’s “Feel good Living” leader last year was the master of ceremonies awarding a President’s Award to both Patricia Funder of LaserLight Skin Clinic and Adam Cupples of Strategis. Congratulations!
Stacey’s determination to successfully lead SSWBN through a challenging time was recognized last night. She acknowledged the people and businesses who have given so much to SSWBN – our partners, team leaders, Board of Directors and staff members.
SSWBN’s Educational Foundation awarded seven $1000 scholarships to deserving women following their dreams.
A big Thank you to Peg Holda and Tina Dwyer of South Shore Hospital for sponsoring this event and supporting SSWBN since it began in 1991.
Over 130 people attended SSWBN’s 19th year celebration at the newly renovated Raffael’s at South Shore Country Club. 2011 will be a year-long celebration of this organization – our 20th year! The night ended with dancing from Red Hot Entertainment…and the last song was a favorite from Meatloaf and Janet stormed the dance floor.
A FUN evening indeed.
