Is There a New Pardigm?
For the past few years some people have talked about a paradigm shift. Whatever is meant by that by others, here is the definition that I like: Get back to basics. Before you start tweeting, facebooking, linking, plaxing, going to BNI, attending forums and seminars, get back to basics.
As an attorney with more than thirty years of experience, my advice to my clients is to do everything in moderation. Stop multi-tasking as much as you do if you do not find it productive. Plan what you are going to do with the best professional guidance you can find, and combine that with common sense. Plan for the best of times and the worst of times. Talk to people you trust, and then make your own decisions. Talk with your significant other.
Banks are lending to businesses — businesses that make sense, that is. People are starting new businesses. People are growing businesses. People are looking at innovative businesses. Not all of them are green. Not all of them are franchises.
Some of them operate from home. Some share space with other businesses. Whatever the business, make sure there is a market, make sure you can service the market, make sure the pricing is accurate and make sure you can make money and be happy.
We can help by providing appropriate legal services and common-sense advice. We will work with you and other trusted professionals in whom we have confidence, to provide you with a knowledge source that is consistent and dependable. Then the future is yours.

But legal information is not the same as legal advice — the application of law to an individual’s specific circumstances.
