Selecting to join the South Shore Women’s Business Network shows that you know the value of investing in your business. Established over 17 years ago, SSWBN is made up of 300 members and regularly communicates with another 1400 South Shore professionals. We host close to 50 annual events and represent a broad cross section of area businesses. That’s why we are called the “premier” Networking organization on the South Shore. Your membership comes with a wealth of benefits and privileges.
Business listing in the On-line Web Directory: Get recognized on the web!
Monthly Opportunities to Network with Area Professionals: an average of 4 events each month
Member pricing at all Network events: Regularly scheduled luncheons and breakfasts – $25 ($40 non-members); Lunch & Learn – $20 (non-members $25). Note additional savings available to members who purchase pre-paid lunch/breakfast punch card.
Opportunities to Showcase Your Business: Schedule a 3-minute presentation at our monthly breakfast free of charge; eligible to win an full page web spotlight featuring you and your business; sponsor an event complete with speaking opportunity, pre and event day promotion (sponsorships are paid opportunities contact the Director of Business Development or the Network President for more details).
Opportunity to Utilize On-Line Newsletter: share business connections and success through the “Connections” column, be the “Featured Business” in our monthly on line news letter ($50); secure an on-going column ($150/mo.)
Opportunity to serve on SSWBN Teams and/or Board of Directors: team chairs and Board President can consult on other pre-requisites
Eligible for participation in SSWBN Roundtable: giving members the benefit of advisory board counsel
Win and Learn! – As a member SSWBN you can apply for the Learning Lottery. The SSWBN Educational Foundation periodically offers $250 grants for you to further your educational purposes. Eligible for incentive programs: A free lunch coupon is awarded to any member who brings a new member into the Network. At year end, the member bringing in the most new members is awarded 1 free annual membership.
Build Credibility: Membership in professional associations increases your personal and professional credibility. Be sure to publicize your membership in SSWBN in your promotional materials and on your website.
What Your Investment Costs:
Annual Membership Dues
Individual Membership $250 ($200 in October)* – One representative from one company/business
Secondary Individual $200 – Second employee from member company
Corporate Membership $1000 – Unlimited memberships within a single company plus additional benefits – Speak with SSWBN Director of Member Services
Partner Memberships $2500 and up – Speak to SSWBN Director of Business Development
*Additional Listing $30 – For members who would like to list a second business or for members who would like to be listed in 2 different directory categories
