It wasn’t just any ole’ Business After Hours….
All I can say is…Gingerbread Martinis. Yum. That just gives you an idea of the warmth that we felt at Terri Martini’s Front Street Gourmet for the South Shore Women’s Business Network Business After Hours last night.
As always we multi tasked.
Janet LaBerge of Dirty Deeds kicked off the selling of SSWBN’s first ever “Women and their Pets” Calendar. Most of the wonderful “calendar girls” were there wearing sashes and signing autographs. A huge thanks goes out to Lois Wood of Lois Wood Graphic Design and Jean Donohue of Jean Donohue Photography for pulling the big project together.
Enjoy your flowers donated by calendar girl Loraine Fields of The Flower Mill, (we missed you)!
If you want to purchase a calendar, contact me at Khoward@sswbn.org.
Thank you to all who contributed toiletries for DOVE, Inc. Board member Margaret Loughlin spoke about their appreciation and the powerful resource that DOVE, Inc. is for those in need.
And the winner of the “Vacation with the Prez” is….Elizabeth Pineault of Elizabeth Pineault CPA. It just so happens that she told me earlier in the evening that she is going to continue to be a silver partner with the network. What goes around comes around folks…and that’s a good thing. Nooo the raffle was not fixed. Terry Narus of Eastern Bank drew Elizabeth's name fair and square. Elizabeth: Have a yummy drink with rum in it on the beach in St. Thomas with Janet for me. You deserve it.
Thank you to all who came out last night to celebrate the holidays.
I celebrate you, our members this holiday season. We exist because of you and I thank you.
2011 is going to be a great year for everyone.
If you want to build a ship, don't herd people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.

Thank you!

Tis the season and what a wonderful time the business after hours at Front Street Gourmet was! It was great to roll out the calendar where some of us experienced our "15 minutes of fame" as participants in the 2011 Calendar.
Cocktails were delicious and the company was even better! It was nice to see so many members and guests in attendance - Kudos to SSWBN!
