Monthly Update – Massachusetts Educational Foundation, Inc.
Massachusetts Educational Foundation
December 2011
The Massachusetts Educational Foundation is the new name for the former SSWBN Educational Foundation … same great people, same great mission!
Plant Seeds, Grow Your Heart
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest
you reap, but by the seeds you plant.” — Robert Louis Stevenson.
Amid holiday shopping lists, office parties, and family visits, it may seem hard to add one more thing to your calendar; but helping others can be a wonderful and rewarding holiday tradition. By giving to your favorite charity today, it will provide future benefits that will help change our world.
Our 2011 annual appeal is underway. To accomplish great things for our future, we must not only act and make donations today, but also dream, and believe that those donations will establish a wonderful future.
Planting the seeds of growth through education makes a difference in so many lives. Not only in the lives of the women whom we support through our scholarships, but in the lives of their children and their future generations. Our own lives are also greatly enhanced by the knowledge that we have made this advancement possible.
The lives of each one of the scholarship recipients have changed, thanks to funding for education that the Foundation has provided. Each year, we are touched by the individual stories of the women who apply. Again, we are very fortunate this year to have a benefactor who will match any donation made by December 15th, so please be as charitable as you can. Please donate now and experience the true gift of giving. Even a small donation of $10 goes a long way. Perhaps your heart will grow three sizes in just one day.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season!
